diy love

By now you probably know that I’m a Frugal/DIY kinda gal, who, nevertheless, does enjoy the finer things in life. I am a true-blue thriftin vixen( see The Ten Thrift Commandments and Thrifting Tips Part 2 for more on thrifting finesse) The art of faux luxury just takes a little creativity a  resourceful mentality, and a sprinkle of pixie dust.

copycat chic

Inspired by this glam  Hollywood-styled, adorable, but oh-so-pricey Anthropologie fur bench, I saw an immediate opportunity to copy the look on a shoestring budget.

Effort: Minimal

Cost: $0

what you’ll need:

the requirements needed are oh so minimal

Untitled design

  • an old bench
  • spray paint
  • fur fabric
  • staple gun

the easy-breezy process

This is one of the easiest projects I’ve ever done. Minimal equipment needed and minimal work for making a great piece of furniture that’s like 90%off the retail price. That’s a project i can be happy about!!!!
Step #1 Take apart your bench.
Step#2  Spraypaint the logs gold. It’s glam , silly
Step #3 Put legs back on
Step #4 Cover the top of the bench with your fabric and staple…staple… staple.

THE FINAL OUTCOME

Processed with VSCO with p5 preset

Now go put your finished piece of fabulousness somewhere deserving!!!
