Get ready Target fans, Plaid-palooza(in the wake of the preceding uber girly Lillypalooza fiasco) is soon to grace the presence of your local Target store aisles. The plaid infused designer collaboration is not as fanatically hyped up as the Lilly Pulitzer or Missoni lines before, but it is nevertheless, of the caliber and stylish grace we’ve come to expect from high-end Target collaborations. Need proof? Check out the LOOKBOOK
Coming to terms with the new collection was an emotional ordeal for me, to be honest. Given my fervent quasi-obsessive admiration for Lilly for Target, I first balked at the thought of a follow up act comprised of boring plaid pieces. Turns out I couldn’t have been any more wrong! The line “inspired by Buffalo plaid” screams Fall Flava—and autumn time makes fashion lovers weak at the knees. The collection includes sweaters, coats, and all things cozy for both men and women(and dogs too!) and in its entirety the line is very lumbersexual-esque in its nature —bringing a bold, modern departure from the same old frumpy plaid look we’ve traditionally come to know
Adam Lippes spartan flair, is a welcome addition to the world of Target collaborations—and with affordable prices(ranging from $19.99-$129.99) you’d have to be mad to deny the plaid. Check out the Adam Lippes line, coming to Target stores near you(and online!) Sunday, September 27th.
